jimmythescumbag
This thread is the epitome of anti-poon. +1...but I myself am also guilty...other than vinyl, I "collect/accumulate" vintage musical equipment. Nothing too crazy, mostly late 60's-70's era stuff (more in the 70's though), and nothing too rare or ridiculously valuable. - Fender Jazz basses 1974 (black), and 1975 (no finish) - Acoustic Control Corporation bass amplifiers and cabinets...including an Acoustic 360 preamp (like Larry Graham, Jaco, and John Paul Jones used to use...along with countless others) which is in need of the maching cabinet with built-in power amp, but that's ok for now. I love the tone I get from this stuff on bass, so I picked up some back ups in case things break, or just stop working...yeah, I have all of the stuff pictured except the misc stuff in the 2nd picture, just the amp/cab pair and the 18" speakers on the floor in front of them. The Roland Space echo is waaaayyy fun too!

papermonsters
Glasses. I have a bunch of 70's and 80's promo glasses from McDonalds and Pizza Hut and whatnot. I usually just find them at yard sales super cheap. Most notable one. The Grimace riding an upside down cross.

kylekrische
Books are the only thing I collect on the same level as records. My girlfriend and I moved in together this past fall and combined our collection is too much for our small apartment.

kriss
for about a year and a half, I worked at a comics shop for store credit and in between that and eBay, racked up about 800 action figures of varying lines (Vintage DC Super Powers, Ninja Turtles, old school Megos all the way to the current DCUC line as well as Japanese vinyl toys and art toys). Mine other main collecting vice though is books - art books, music biography books, cookbooks, comics, books for collage material, manga, 'zines, books with ghost stories and tales of horror, etc. I love books! Maybe just a tad bit more than records even. :X
