I thought Brand was the only thing worth watching. I'm totally amazed at how awful the performances are. I'm not saying like MTV has been good for a while but Eminem had 1,000 dudes dressed just like him, Jay-Z performed on a scale model Brooklyn Bridge, Missy Elliot had a Giant fucking head of herself made, just tons of shit. This year it seems like they can't even get the bands to do their songs right.

And are they on a fucking sound stage? It looks like there's maybe 2,000 people there. I just can't believe they thought this was a good way to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

It was at the Paramount Studios lot in hollywood. The Kanye West performance was by far the best of the night. Song rules and is totally not what people were expecting probably.

dude my GF was watching this so I watched a bit. This was the worst thing I have ever seen. It's kinda sick just how much of a commercial that entire station is. I wonder how much you gotta pay to be "nominated"
