Snaggle Von Swift Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 I went to go to the bathroom at about 2am last night lifted up the toilet seat lid and there was a rat in my toilet (alive) guess it somehow climbed up the drain? the lid was down so it couldn't of been in my place. never in my life have i seen or heard of anything like it i took a picture, just haven't uploaded it to photobucket yet. Snaggle Von Swift Posted September 9, 2008 Author Share Posted September 9, 2008 I initially tried flushing it.. but it made it through and was still there. so we kinda shoved it down with the plunger and flushed it again and it was gone. then flushed the toilet probably 30 more times. i had no idea what to do. i was so shocked. Not matter if it was 2 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning, I think a rat in the toilet would've woke you up. And maybe the rat was in your house and climbed up the toilet and got in there, seems like it wouldn't have been able to get up to the toilet without drowning or something. It would have been squeezed a bit and scared shitless, but saved. What you did is no different really than putting out a normal mousetrap, although it is definitely a unique experience.
