benchwarmer
I know a few people here are into Clutch, myself included. They launched a pretty comprehensive and complete discography page of all their vinyl releases. Always wanted to get some of these, but they go for so much on the ebay. http://www.hazzardrecords.net/Clutch-Vinyl-Discography.html

dante3000
I like Clutch but never collected their vinyl. It's a damn criminal shame that Pure Rock Fury, Blast Tyrant and Transnational Speedway League were never on vinyl.
thedisappeared
CLUTCH fucking rules!! i would love it if someone re-pressed the self titled record, and if they pressed everything from pure rock fury up to from beale street to oblivion. i would pay big bucks for them shitters. rafter242
Transnational Speedway.. was my gateway to Clutch. Soon after. I saw them open for Bad Religion. I would love to have that on vinyl. Calling out to the Collective...
celebdeath
every single record Clutch have released would RULE so fucking much on vinyl. I would love to hear the fat-ass bottom of Elephant Riders on wax!
gristlejaw
hey thats my site! Glad you like it. I need to add a few things on there.... Bakerton vinyl, DJ Z-Trip, etc. Clutch is a pain to collect now because the demand is so high (lucky i have it all). They should definitely do more vinyl releases. Maybe VC can press Blast Tyrant on LP, that'd be incredible.
burntwolf
i think the problem is they all are too long. would need 2xLP pressings.
celebdeath
the s/t was pressed on 1 LP and that sounds OK, but yeah burntwolf is right, they'd need to be 2LP jobs - just for pure quality. It would be amazing if VC could do some Clutch records.
altarsofradness
while the idea of Clutch albums finally finding a proper home on vinyl makes me hot in the pants, there's no way it would happen with VC. entirely different demographic there. but hey, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind a label could sell 2000 copies of each album on vinyl. Clutch have an immensely loyal fanbase. that's money waiting to be taken!
altarsofradness
oh man, i'm imaging the artwork for Blast Tyrant sprawled out in glorious 12", gatefold manner. it's a travesty this hasnt happened yet.
skumbucket
clutch is totally rad and way expensive. but every band should do this if they've been around for a while.
benchwarmer
god I love this band. it would be awesome if VC did them, but I think there's about 4 of us.

Clutch have an immensely loyal fanbase. that's money waiting to be taken! total agreeance on this. any label doing their vinyl would have absolutely no problem selling out their production runs. i find it very odd that clutch haven't got their shit vinyled up before (s/t only being a promo pressing run i believe) because their fanatical fanbase would snap them up and their totally-suited-to-vinyl sound. i so want Elephant Riders, Jam Room, Pure Rock Fury and Blast Tyrant. i'd very easily put $50 + shipping down for each of these on 2LP, gatefold jacket jobs. gristlejaw
Jam Room has already been pressed by Emetic Records, though for legal reasons (presumably Megaforce's re-release of JR on CD) they can't release it for 7 years! (it's been at least 2 yrs since this...so 5 or less to go) I think ER and Transnational will fit on 1 LP. BT & RH/E would have to be on 2xLP. p.s. The self-titled LP wasn't a promo, it was just pressed and released in europe (pressed in germany).

ER would probably fit on one, but its got such a big bottom end that maybe the sound wouldnt be as good if it were on a single LP. and if they were to include the 3 bonus tracks on the Japanese CD release, it would probably need to go on 2 LPs. i'd love to hear Gifted and Talented on vinyl! davehoffa
Make it 6. If VC pressed 'em, people would buy them. Considering most people on here have like 200 records, I think there's a lot of fans that just haven't come around, yet.
