melikecheese
Does anyone have a good place to buy SACD (super audio CD) online? I want to pick up some classics on this formats cause it sounds super duper awesome but they are hard to find. Plus I think I might be able to get them on the cheap cause it never really caught on. Thanks!

There is also a lot of science behind the mastering, its interesting. Look into it. Not all SACDs are in 5.1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Audio_CD SACD sampling rate = 2.8224 MHz. CD sampling rate = 44.1 kHz That's 64 times the sampling rate.

thomas
I've been thinking of buying some SACD equipment for my living room. I like having my records and stuff in my room, but I'd still love to have a nice set-up down stairs for when people come over.
