chunkrock
I love both of them, I picked sunny though because I've retired arrested development for a little while because I've seen every episode so many times and I don't want to get sick of them. I think I'll go back to it sometime in 2009.
xfedaykinx
AD without a doubt. wittiest, driest humor ive seen in ages. its brilliant
patron
I've watched seasons 1-3 of It's Always Sunny, and I'm halfway through season 2 of AD, and so far I'd say It's Always Sunny is better.
brad
really tough choice. i just started AD again, i'll come back in a few days (especially after sunny tonight) and see how I feel. and for those who don't know - both are on hulu.com
melikecheese
I like Sunny but I cannot watch AD. Tried several episodes, just was not funny to me at all for whatever reason.

kirbypuckett
AD has better re playability. I've watched each episode at least 10 times and I still find new things.
oakland
This is an unfair thread! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS? THAT'S A TERRIBLE CHOICE TO HAVE TO MAKE?

mediocore
I catch AD every so often on CBC after the Simpsons at 5 and I really can't get into it. I don't know if I haven't seen enough of it, or what, but I kind of get annoyed watching it. You really need to watch it from the beginning. It's so character-driven that if you see shit out of context it probably won't be as funny.

When Dennis was wearing the duster this season, i forgot about the introduction of that and was missing out on that whole joke.

tanukichu
Like a lot of people are saying, this is really apples and oranges. I still haven't watched AD in its entirety and it is an amazing show. It's a hard choice but I think I'm giving the edge to Philly because I've seen pretty much every episode (except the last two. I've been busy...am gonna play catch up this weekend) and because I always gotta rep the city that shoves you back as Paint It Black puts it. Hometown pride. I pretty much only said it because I was listening to "Four Deadly Venoms" where the line about "welcome to the city that shoves you back" is from. I do whatever Dan Yemin tells me to. mediocore
the office peaked with season two. it's been downhill since then Definitely more hit-and-miss. Especially when the characters leave the actual office.
