kirbypuckett
Anyone know any pressing info about this record? There's a BIN on eBay for $40, I picked it up a local shop today for $10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Your_New_Favourite_Band There was also a 7" single for "Main Offender" and some other record in a white sleeve, but had NO info on it. Thanks!

Thanks! Sounds like you hit up Eide's! I was there last weekend and cleaned them out of a ton of sealed 80s metal/rock albums. The white sleeve 12" you saw is this bootleg: http://www.discogs.com/release/99506 I bought it but wish I hadn't

Yeah, they've essentially given up on new releases for the most part. Which is why I was happy and surprised to find those old albums they must have recently brought in. I still love that place to death for how awesome it was in the pre-internet days.
numanoid
I really like The Hives... They're better than most crap people call music these days. And cocky is their gimmick, like a new version of the Stones. As for that pressing, I would guess around 2000 worldwide. But that's just a guess. I see it about three times a year. brettall
I like the Hives. A lot. Not very impressed with The Black and White Album, however. Their pinnacle was Tyrannosaurus Hives in my opinion.
xjustinxschwierx
And cocky is their gimmick, like a new version of the Stones. minus, y'know, the songs & the talent...but yeah...for them it's a gimmick, the Stones, it's just the Stones... it was fucking PAINFUL and embarrassing to watch this band play live. I really liked their live show - really energetic and fun. Though I could see how someone could not enjoy it if they didnt like the cocky attitude and sloppy play

rhythmgtr5
does tyrannosaurus hives sound as bad as veni vini vicious does on vinyl? The former is my favorite hives album, but I dont want to spend the $$$ if it sounds as bad as the latter
