scottheisel
To anyone living in/around Cleveland, Music Saves appears to be the only local indie store actively participating in Record Store Day this year. Here's what they're going to be stocking: http://musicsaves.com/images/PDF/RSD09releases.pdf I'd encourage other people to check their local record stores' websites for similar lists. thomas
I want that Cursive split, but I don't know if I can get that Saturday off since the week after is my sisters Graduation and missing two Saturdays in a row is bad. If I do get it off though, I'll probably head up there after checking out Square Records since they are supposed to be participating. konk
I sent mine an email because they only have one of those online store sites and are an hour away.
justinfastbreak
Thanks for the list, it's nice to know the tracklistings. I'll be there!
rtw88
I'm into the Cursive, Modest Mouse, and TAAS split, but my store isn't participating = (
chiefwahoo
Anyone know if the stores have a significant number of copies of the records? I'd gladly buy into this promotion and drive to Pittsburgh or Cleveland in order to buy a bunch of exclusive records and check out some bands I may not be familiar with

There are about 6 stores taking part so you might be able to get it all in one trip. The "limited" releases are limited to 3,000 but I don't know how they decide what store gets what amount of those. scottheisel
It's up to the store and how many copies of something they want to order. I'm super bummed they're not getting the Rivers Cuomo CD/DVD. C'mon!

thomas
I am not a fan of metro burger at all. It is way over priced, and their other store market street cafe has better burgers. If you come to Akron Scott let me know, we'll go to Louie's, best burger in town.
akross
What is Metro Burger? Hipster/gourmet burger place http://metroburger.com/menu.php The only thing that interests me this year is the Black Keys/Flaming Lips split and I am snagging the Rivers disc for my wife. thomas
Have you had Louie's akross? If Scott comes to town we should grab some burgers. Louie's is on the the North side of town, but Metro Burger is right across from Square Records so we could do whatever is easiest. http://akronsbestburger.com/ <- Louie's menu
