no one had done a 10" box set in years, i think its a hell of a box set and really raises the bar, that paper is also textured

why? i've got an Earth box/deluxe edition that is in the same style as the thrice (bound hardcover) and it has printing on the spine. it doesnt look bad and you can actually tell what it is when its filed on the shelf with everything else

eluvium box set, why wouldnt you print on the spine of a box set masquerading as a book or sorts.....all of my books have printing on the spine.

Do you guys/girls own THAT MANY 10" box sets that you don't know what this one is when it's filed away with the rest of your records? Spine printing would be kinda nice, but I honestly don't see a big deal about it not being there.

mine is number 60. i'm surprised i got a number that low, usually when things are hand numbered i get a pretty high number.

and wasn't the cover suppose to be cloth-bound? mine is just like a hard cover book.

I got #903 or something like that and I ordered when Virgil put them up for PO. Doesn't matter to me though, it's a real nice set.

I really don't give a shit about the number I got, I just found it sort of funny. I'd be interested to know how many copies were given to VC to sell, and why they got numbers ranging from 63 to 2974, not like 1-500, or 2500-3000 or whatever. Just seems weird to me that all the stores would got random numbers.

i think all the numbers are just mixed up, I purchased a sigur ros box set from the label which was signed by the band

several years ago and I got number 3977/5000, you figure all th low numbers would be with them but they probably

mix it up so that every store or retail buyer gets something different

i finally got my copy and aside from the insane wait that we were all subjected to, i am extremely pleased with how this released turned out. the packaging is beautiful, the attention to detail is great, and the records sound excellent.

Did anybody that ordered from Aural Exploits get their replacement disc yet? I requested one as soon as I received my set, and sent a follow-up earlier this week, but haven't heard anything back.
