I think he may actually enjoy the music they make but I know several die hard Tool fans who say he's berated fans at shows and has come of as a total dick whenever he's been spotted publicly. I tried listening to Puscifer after hearing the stuff they did on the underworld soundtrack. I liked the stuff on the soundtrack, but this new stuff is utter crap.
