xjustinxschwierx
Jersey was terrible, though they had a really awesome hardcore song on a old Fueled By Ramen comp but their album was awful...

stevef
i got about 10 ten of these in for my distro, if your looking for any certain color let me know and i can check. i havent even looked myself. the guy that did this release w/ the Zine sent out an E-Mail to everybody that Pre-Ordered...he was willing to worth with completists and even sell each record at WholeSale pricing...but for every varient it came out to be like 250-300 bucks....so I appreciate the offer man, but I'm just gonna stick with the 3 I got and later on in life if they end up on for sale somewhere mega-cheap I'll round 'em up then...I can't justify dropping that kind of cash on that many varients of a single record at this point in ma life Hey Chris, I asked in that email the information about the pressing be kept off the internet for a variety of reasons and it bothers me that you posted about it here. On top that of you gave no explanation as to why the pressing is the way it so I feel this puts me in a bad light as if trying to capitalize off what happened. My intention was never for the pressing to be out of control in this way and it was the plant’s doing. The only reason I sent out this email was to be clear with the collectors what the situation is as there are some very devoted Bane and Grade fans out there. These people want all the information possible concerning releases and are willing to collect the records as that is their hobby. My intent was not to twist their arm or try to get anyone to buy $250-300 worth of products but instead to inform the collectors as to why they are receiving what they are receiving. As we all know some people are very picky about what colours what records are. My hope was to avoid any/many questions as far as why there are so many colours of records especially with the collectors. Some people I was in contact with prior to sending out the email to the 20-30 collectors had expressed interest in buying all the variations so – in order to be fair – I thought it best to make the offer available to anyone who expressed interest in collecting these records. As far as why shipping was later than expected, that ties in with the pressing issues and a timeline that was continually moved back on me. I’ve had a lot of problems with the pressing of the final record and am still in fact missing about 500-600 that the shipper lost in transit. If anyone has an issue with this please contact me off the board. My email address is [email protected] If anyone is interested in buying a copy or two, please check out the links below. willbratt
I got my Bane/Grade split last week, and it's AWESOME! Steve did an excellent job of this release, and one would think that people who collect records would be a bit more sympathetic to the fact that pressing plants mess things up all the time. Don't cry about it. Read the zine and enjoy the music.

scottheisel
The double zine is excellent. Thanks for that interview with Dave at Lucky Lacquers, I've always wondered about the mastering process!

stevef
Hey Everyone, Here’s an update from the At Both Ends world. Things have been really busy and all outstanding orders will ship within the next ten days. If anyone is interested in distroing this please get in touch! If you haven’t already seen the new store provided by LimitedPressing.com then just follow the link below. There are a few other items up for sale as well so be sure to check those out too. http://atbothends.limitedpressing.com/ http://atbothends.limitedpressing.com/ http://atbothends.limitedpressing.com/ If you want to read a few pages to get an idea of what the zine is all about then check the ABE profile at Issuu.com, there are a few sample pages up. http://issuu.com/atbothends http://issuu.com/atbothends http://issuu.com/atbothends Some reviews of the ABE package! “Well, someone certainly has set the bar higher. I guess if you’re going to go out do it in a way that’s going to make everyone else attempting to publish something in print basically give up.” –Hanging Hex “With a double 7-inch this good, it's easy to forget this comes with the last issue of At Both Ends, a fantastic hardcore zine from Canada's Northwest. While that's a bummer, the eight songs on this gem soften the blow… …With music from all over the map, including tracks from legendary bands and upstarts alike, At Both Ends hit a homerun with this EP--and you get a top-notch magazine to boot.” –Alternative Press Scenepointblank.com: 9.0 out of 10.0 points! Overview of the package: This monster contains a 148-page perfect-bound magazine/book that combines two new issues worth of AT BOTH ENDS with a double 7” featuring two exclusive songs each from four different bands. The first record pairs up hardcore legends BANE (No introduction needed) with GRADE (Yes, GRADE! Their first new songs since 2001); the second 7” includes newer bands UNRESTRAINED (Surprise Attack Records) and BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY (Greg from TRIAL with former members of CATHARSIS and BY A THREAD). Included in the magazine are articles with BANE, SICK OF IT ALL, VERSE, SHOOK ONES, BILL STEVENSON, SPARKMARKER, SHAI HULUD, GREG BENNICK and much, much more. This is about as packed as a zine can get! The magazine is perfect bound with glossy pages and colour covers. Printing is similar to a book and higher quality than pretty much any commercial magazine. That’s all for now, thanks for your interest! http://www.atbothendsmagazine.com http://atbothends.limitedpressing.com/ http://issuu.com/atbothends
