nickbuysvinyl
This is inspired by the Vampire Weekend thread. I was going to post this question there, but then i thought of giving it it's own thread Anyway, Thrice is going to be playing at the Chandler Zia's, plus they said they will be giving away alot of freebies. skumbucket
not participating.
markalark17
I just called them actually. Apparently a lot of local bands are playing, they're gonna have food and such, plus sidewalk sales, and freebies. Pretty damn excited.
melikecheese
We have 4 stores participating in Columbus and they don't have any details yet which kinda sucks. I know at least one will have record give aways and a few exclusive items they wont talk about. As long as one of them has a copy of the Malkmus 10" I'll be happy. I am sure there will be some local shows/parties during the day, hoping for some Times New Viking swag or something from Columbus Discount. martyk36
I don't know if any spots here in cincy are gonna have stuff going on, but I might go down to ear x-tacy in louisville and catch metroschifter's in store.

Guest scriptedrain
It's Record Store Day. I told my local guy about it and got him involved. In some weird, arrogant way, I'm proud of myself. I'm not sure what he's doing, but I do see that he's added a banner on MySpace.
jhulud
I don't either of my local stores are doing anything. Then again, I haven't been by there in a few weeks.

markalark17
I just found out that my actual local store is on the list of participation too, so I guess I'll just have to hit up both that one, and the one two hours away. Good thing I get good gas mileage.
