Last week, I was looking at our test pressing shelf and realized that we had a lot of extra test pressings sitting around and could make some room on the shelves while helping find nice homes for them. Sure the money raised will help fund some pressings and knock out some bills. I priced most of them at what I think are pretty solid prices for test pressings, but you can be the judge of that. I priced them based on how many we have left around, how many were pressed, and the demand for certain test pressings. Christmas can come early as test pressings make the ultimate gift for you (or someone you care for). Note that the #/10 refers to a test pressing being hand-numbered out of 10 copies. There are some great records here and I hope that those of you looking for a particular test pressing finds it. Good luck.

Photographed is the test pressing for "It's Complicated Being a Wizard" which has its own covers for the test pressings. And yes, for some reason, they did the test pressings on white vinyl.

So, is the first 7" the only one out from the In The Red Volume 1.5 series?

yeah, for some reason, we only got 3 made of 1.5.2 and wanted to give mike and matt a few so we won't be posting one of those for sale.

dustin made a slightly different color scheme on the silkscreened jacket for the test press than there is for the special edition black and blue copies.

I was going to come on here and complain about the price of that A Wilhelm Scream test, but I bought the Joey Cape / Jon Snodgrass and Delicious Vinyl tests instead. The Joey Cape song on there is great, and I adore the demo version of Go West by Austin Lucas. I think it's even better than the album version.

im not sure that the records being so rare or how many were pressed and how big the band is really matters anymore. when you can geta matt skiba/kevin seconds test press on the bay for 50 bucks somethings not right....or is it?

Hit or Miss. That's how i sum that up.
