There is no payola involved. The band were selected for MTV's 52 program -- the channel picks a different band each week, has them film a few short vignettes and then uses their music all over the place. SS doesn't seem at all the type of label who would endorse the implementation of payola. i wasnt referring to payola. i was referring to paid advertisements because the original poster referenced a commercial. i dont watch mtv so i wouldnt know any different anyways.
