kyle Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Just make sure it's what she'd really want. I'm a photographer too and there's not a whole lot of things I'd want in the $100-200 range. I know that sounds snobby but all the good stuff is really expensive and I'm sure she has the basics like filters, bags, etc. There are some fun things to get in that price range but most laymen don't know about them. I would not get a new lens on your budget, they're all junk in that range. Also, I don't think you can afford new strobes/lights so don't go that route. You can get her a nice tripod if she doesn't have one. The LensBaby is really cool and fun and makes a nice gift. Find out what camera she has and get back to us.
