jhulud
Kinda off-topic...what's the weather been like up there in Boston? I want to have an idea for when I go up there next week.
jhulud
Thanks Jeff...it looks like it will be chilly (by Florida standards)...so all good...
hickey
It's so warm up here for late October, so you should be fine, though it is New England, so next week could be really cold...pack accordingly. Oh yeah, and Go Sox!!!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
im sorry, rockies will win. sox may take the first game soley on the fac tthat beckett is the best post season pitcher in 10 years... but once they get to colorado they won't be able to handle the high altitude and snowy weather and manny will go back to boston after losing all 3 games there thinking "no biggie, there's always next year"
jhulud
Good ol' Manny....gotta love him and his quips!
kyle
God, I hope the Rockies beat the shit out of Boston. Also hoping Indy beats the shit out of New England on the 4th.

sgoodcore
im sorry, rockies will win. sox may take the first game soley on the fac tthat beckett is the best post season pitcher in 10 years... but once they get to colorado they won't be able to handle the high altitude and snowy weather and manny will go back to boston after losing all 3 games there thinking "no biggie, there's always next year" I think its funny how people expect Manny to live or die with winning a World Series. Those same people will talk about how unimportant sports are in regards to life when things like 1 million people are evacuated from their homes. Manny's attitude is honestly the right one to have. Frankly, the dude could try 50% of what he's capable of and be better than 90% of major leaguers.
hickey
Rockies in 4, to go 25 for 26.I'd love to see this. Care to revise this, considering it's 13 to 1 in the Sox favor after six innings?
jhulud
I actually had a couple of people from work who I haven't seen in a week or so (they were away in training) come up to me and apologize for all the shit-talking they had been doing about the sox not making to the WS. Suck on that bitches! Game tonight has been brutal...

hickey
As much as I typically don't like lopsided games, this one was crazy fun to watch. Dusty P.'s homer in the first really set the tone for the game. I can't remember his name, but that poor pitcher who walked in three straight runs, I feel bad for that guy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Best comment last night came from my brother: "Why in the fuck did the Marlins have to get rid of Beckett?!?!?"....my bro is a big Marlins fan. obvious answer, payroll, hahaha. and i called tonight. beckett is hands down the BEST clutch pitcher in MLB in the last 10 years. Smoltz MAY be better... but I dunno about that. I think rockies win tonight, and go back to colorado and win 2 of 3 to end the series there. hickey
sox in 6 I think Sox in 5. I would love 6 so they win at home, but I really don't think the Rockies can do it. Look at the teams they beat to get to the World Series: The Cubs and the D-backs, not great clubs by any stretch. I think the Rockies got really swept up in it and are now going to be handed a dose of reality.
