travis
do any of you guys frame your records? i'm thinking about framing some of my picture discs and maybe a few of my rare records. where's a good place to buy frames? Ive only framed one record, I have an autographed NOFX - Wolves LP and I got a really cheap frame at Michaels....I think it was on sale for like $3.99 or something. I actually only framed the jacket with the autographs on it and left the vinyl in a sleeve. This is the one I bought. http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=fr0500
scotterson
I have (had...currently selling) an autographed Less Than Jake pic disc that I framed, also got it at Michaels.
gojira
I got my frames on sale at Urban for 2 for $10. Framed my Big Boys test press, 7 Second 'Walk Together' test, and a rotating cast of psychedelic records.
patron
I have art from LPs framed, but other than that they all stay on the shelf.
hickey
Frame the art, play the records.
benchwarmer
I have my "Out of Step" first press framed in one from Michaels, but I don't like the frame. it leaves gaps on the sides. I may get a different one, or something else. (also, I have about 3 other versions of this ep for playing purposes)
gojira
That's one of my pipedream garage sale records. I know I'll come across it some day.
rockstar71888
I've got a few "classic" records framed at my parents' house (Stones, Cash, Sabbath, etc...), but nothing that I would want to listen to.
stranaspank
Why the hell wouldn't you want to listen to the Stones, Cash, or Sabbath? Kids these days...
rocknroll76
Why the hell wouldn't you want to listen to the Stones, Cash, or Sabbath? Kids these days... Maybe it's copies of Steel Wheels, Boom Chicka Boom, and Dehumanizer.

rockstar71888
Why the hell wouldn't you want to listen to the Stones, Cash, or Sabbath? Kids these days... not the best albums by them.

booyahachieved
I have ten LP jackets framed that are hanging on the walls in my basement. Like many of you, I keep the actual record and sleeve elsewhere so I can listen to them. Bought the frames at Michaels for around $5 when they were on sale. They're not the greatest frames by any means but they get the job done.
motorbike
Saves The Day - I'm Sorry I'm Leaving - Immigrant Sun Records - 1st Press - Red - /12 I had this custom framed at a shop near my house for about $150. i was thinking while i was scrolling that it would have to be something serious for me to get it framed and bam, you hit the nail on the head sir. +
soysquad
The only thing I have framed is a signed Jacket of the newest Robert Earl Keen album, which they were nice enough to send two jackets of (so the 2xLP still resides in the unsigned version) I've been contemplating framing my tour copy of Til The Wheels Fall Off. But I don't want it to fade, or have the glow in the dark paint wear out any faster than normal.
Fartcat
I've said it before and I'll say it again, records are for listening to, not framing, but if I had a Saves the Day record /12 I'd definately be tempted...
decline221984
I only frame the jackets. One wall of my room used to be this, but then I sold the centerpoint for a really good price. To fill that spot, I'm planning on getting a clear decline! Gonna use the money I got from the two 7''ers to buy that decline.
alertthemute
Why the hell wouldn't you want to listen to the Stones, Cash, or Sabbath? Kids these days... I think a better question is why would you frame these records to hang on your wall if you don't even like the music? Do you think it makes you look cool?
