Hatful of Hollow / Louder Than Bombs / Any of the random singles/rarities collections 5. Strangeways Here We Come The Queen is Dead is a great album and everything, but Meat is Murder is by far the best record the Smiths ever made. It has all the sly wit that makes The Smiths great, but without overdoing it like they do on Queen is Dead. The songs are way better than most of Queen is Dead, and it sounds amazing. Queen is Dead sounds...well, dead in comparison to me. Just try to find the UK version of Meat is Murder. The US version has How Soon Is Now? slapped in the middle of it, and it really ruins the pace of the record. The recent Rhino repress sounds pretty good, and has the UK track listing. I recommend it.
