What, no Geisha's in Kyoto?! :P

Looks awesome Vince, glad you enjoyed yourself. Did you walk through Akihabara at all in Tokyo, and see all the weird anime stuff.

i had a great time, thanks everyone.

akihabara is amazing. the yodobashi video board above is from that area. of all the technology, i have to say that toilet seats are the most amazing things i saw!

no geisha girls, they can run you up to 800 bones an hour. i did spend some time at a hostess bar - a good time, but my japanese was hardly conversational

the cities are all absolutely spotless, there is no trash anywhere to be seen. what makes this even more odd is that there are no trash cans anywhere! lots of recycling bins to toss out the vending machine teas and beers, but no trash. also, they limit smoking outside to designated areas so butts arent all over the place either.

Nice pics. Did you make it to Kamakura or Nikko?

I love Japan. What did you think about Osaka (in general, and also compared to Tokyo)?

Didnt make it to either of those places. Osaka was pretty awesome, the food there was out of this world. Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki will be missed greatly. Osaka gave me a feel of being a city that would be easier to live in than Tokyo, it felt a little less clustered. I wish I had alloted more time to spend there, I know that much!
