blueeyedtheory
A couple guys at the gym were having this argument the other night, and I have no idea what the difference is. So... what are they? What makes a Zune better than an iPod?
Guest
I'm a dope and ripped a lot of my CDs as WMA files and I didn't want to have to convert them all, so I bought a Zune because iTunes doesn't accept WMA files. Also it was a little cheaper and, I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but I don't care for the circle track thingy.
thedavidescapeplan
I agree with Rad about not liking the Ipod's circle thing. Also since Zune's are wireless I can send music to my friends who have Zune's just by pushing a button. It will be added to their Zune and then they can add it to their collection. It's a lot more open about haring music with others than Apple/Itunes. If I'm with my friend and hear a band/album/whatever he can send it to me instantly which I think is fucking awesome. I use the radio on it when I am on my way home and want to listen NPR without having to download a podcast that would take up space on my hard-drive. Most of my friends ditched the Ipod for the Zune after I got one. Almost everyone I know has one at this point.
desensitizedbyu
But after you send it to a friend, doesn't it only last for 3 days or a certain amount of listens? I love my iPod, I don't get the hate.

That seems like some sort of oversight on Microsoft's part, although if they haven't patched it yet, perhaps it was intentional. (Though it doesn't really make much sense)
