One Hundred Fifty-Two
I won that innerpartysystem record from a punktastic contest. Took a bite out of it hoping my white copy was white chocolate. I was disappointed.
kurtz
I prefer to jam econo than pay out for a mega deluxe version of a record that usually doesn't need it in the first place. This. Aside from a few years ago when I didn't know any better, I don't think I've ever paid more than $15 for a new record. IFB Records knows how to do it right. They put a lot of care and effort into their packages, but also manage to keep costs down. $10 ppd for color vinyl with a screened jacket, 10 inserts, and a patch. No Idea manages to keep their double LPs with gatefold jackets and printed sleeves at $12 bucks. $30 records suck. IFB is one of the best labels/distros out there. Rock bottom prices all around. I agree with everything else you said too. It has to be a record I really want for me to spend over $15 on it and I rarely ever spend $20 or more. If it costs $8-$12 I usually don't think twice about it. Gatefold covers, etched b-sides and all the other bells and whistles are nice, but I would rather just have a cheap affordable copy without all the extras. plasma36
It really depends on the album. If it's long because it has long songs, go with 2x12", but if it has a lot of songs, my vote goes to 3x10". I don't know what you have against them, but I think 10"s are so cool.
jblahmaster
Triple 10" would be pretty cool. 10" are pretty cool in my book.
steventangent
Could this be tdagarim? the day a goat ate ramen i made? three dozen avocado guacamole, a recipe I've mastered! these ducks at grandma's are raving, insanely mad. they died, all got acute rabies in may. take down a grapefruit and ram in mouth. this day, a great army rests in mourning. three down, and grandparents all relinquished inheritance money. try, dipshit, and give a reason i'll murder. these damn attempts guessing are really interesting - maybe. melikecheese
I am not a huge fan of 10" albums, I mean I think they are really kinda cool looking, I love the KOL ten inch stuff but I hate listening to it. You have to flip the damn record every 3 songs, on a full length album, that gets old, I would never want a triple 10", that's just too much work! scotterson
I'm gonna do a micro-cassette release. That would be sweet action. Then I could dust off my dad's old personal micro-cassette recorder with built in speaker and take that party wherever I go!
