joshnotgood
Tuition payments do sneak up on you, and I feel bad about your situation. In your case, if I were you, I'd apply for one or two more credit cards. This is of course a terrible thing, but if you're in a bind...well it is what it is. And maybe the best option would be to borrow the money from a friend's parents, friend of the family, crazy aunt, anyone you know who you think would help. Maybe a church fundraiser? I don't know dude, but good luck.

AlexH.
This sounds like the plot of a bad movie. Can the ragtag team of misfits on VC gather together $2000 in 10 days for a guy they don't even know? (no.)

steventangent
I don't have any good advice, other than to say good luck, dude. I hope something works out. Talk to someone in an official capacity at your school. Hopefully they can point you in the right direction.

brettall
Just talk to someone at Financial Aid at your school, and see if you can defer your tuition payments if need be. Usually post-secondary institutions are more than happy to help - they want to see you graduate too. You'll figure it out, man.

EXACTLY! if your story is true, not doubting it but...any school would allow you to pay that sum(2k) over a couple months/year to allow you to graduate. it's in their best interest to have higher graduation rate.
