oakland
I have a bunch of nice leather-bound book from Easton Press in my library, so I get their catalog. Anyway, I saw in there today they have autographed copies of "High Fidelity." Thought some of you might really be into that.

icecream
Yeah but I mean you are getting the best of the best. They have a few signed kurt vonnegut books i'd love to own but the price tag is pretty hefty

oakland
I have 13 signed Vonnegut books. Some are worth a ton, but having all those books by my favorite author of all time is priceless to me.

Did you get one of the monthly deals or buy them one at a time? I've probably got about 30 or so. That shit's expensive. My father-in-law has an entire library full of them. It's incredible. When I go to his house I read fine leather-bound classic novels and sip cognac. It's kind of cool. Makes me feel fancy.

Yeah I have a little over 300 but I got a nice steal my neighbors are insanely wealthy and they had a divorce. So that lead to the estate sale and needless to say I got a hell of a deal on them
oakland
That's awesome. If you have "Cat's Cradle" I would be more than happy to pay you a hefty sum for it. It's the only book missing from my Vonnegut collection.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I'd rather watch this than read a book for $

oakland
the autographs of dead authors are cool in a way, but these books are the finest quality money can buy. It's like having the super deluxe version of your favorite album, with gold inlay in a leather sleeve with museum-quality paper inserts. If you like books, which many of you clearly don't, these are the cream of the crop.

exitenglish1208
this is a great book, one of my favorites. would make a great father's day gift for my dad, he got me into it, but $100 is just a little steep
Guest roebot
$100 paper weight. i worked in a used/rare book store for eight years. easton press & franklin library make beautiful books, but its not like you can really read these. they are nice for sitting on a shelf & having other people appreciate them. Yeah, I don't understand caring about autographs in most situations, particularly when you didn't even get them yourself.
