free amazon prime for students

Recommended Posts

If you just grad'ed, you probably still have access to your .edu account which may get you in I'd guess. But I read nothing more than these two posts in this thread.

assuming you still have access to your account, you could get in, it's just a matter of whether or not they'd consider you a student if they were to ask you to verify your student status

Is there a way to tell if something is eligible for the free shipping besides putting it in your cart and trying to check out?

when you're searching, on the left side of the screen you should see a box that says "shipping option" and "prime eligible" should be an option.

for the most part, if you're buying it from amazon, it's eligible, and if you're buying it through the marketplace, it's not (unless it says "fulfilled by amazon")

It is costs more then like $20 (forget the exact price), it's usually free.

I think what you're referring to is the "free super saver shipping" where if your total order (through amazon, not marketplace) is $25+, then you get free slow shipping. amazon prime is free 2 day shipping with no minimum order (or $3.99/item one day shipping)
