kyle
What's up with Netflix - do you download movies, or stream them? Is it awesome? Also, I just saw Juno. Fantastic. They do have streaming movies but most of the titles are not available in that format. You make a list of movies you want to see and depending on your plan, you can have 1-4 movies checked out at a time. It literally only takes a day or two to get your movies so its always a quick turnaround. If you get the two or three movie plan you should almost always have a movie waiting to be watched with another movie on its way and by the time you watch the first movie and send it out the other one has already came. You'll most likely end up watching a lot more movies then you normally do. Its really cool. I think the 3 movie plan (which we have) is $15/month and they let you stream about 20 hours of movies and shows. Netflix just announced that the streaming limit is going to be lifted and that it will be unlimited, but that wont' go into effect for another couple months. Hope that helps. cadetapplesauce
my girlfriend usually just assumes that i'm not gonna be into the movies she wants to watch. sometimes i do want to watch them though. other times, some of the movies i want to see are the movies her dad wants to see. like... i wanted to watch flags of our fathers, but never did. any good, people? steventangent
Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas)It's a French film about Christmas of 1914 in the trenches of Scottish, French, and German soldiers during WWI. I bought it kind of on a whim... I saw it used at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and considered it, but went home without it and decided I'd track it down. It's fantastically done.. everyone speaks their own language (Germans speak German, French speak French, etc.) with subtitles and it's a true story. I've kind of wanted to see that just based on the subject matter.

I get Casino and Goodfellas mixed up a bunch -- he gets buried out in a field in his underwear, right? All beaten up by baseball bats?
