gabpower
I stumbled upon this yesterday : http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350391508033 It seems to be new since I've never seen a vinyl press with that cover. I also noticed a Hellcat logo in the back and on the record label. I won't buy this one because of the shipping price from Danemark but if someone knows a place in America where they sell those, please show me where. It's weird that it's the self-titled album cover but it only has the Energy tracks. Anyone has any info on this? Is it a bootleg?
srcvinyl
I know epitaph did a reissue about two years ago? Maybe even 3!!! I remember talking about it on PRC. I will see if the vinyl is still available and what info I can find

I really cant recall if there was ever a vinyl
themean
Interesting. One of the ten best albums ever made.
hickey
Interesting. One of the ten best albums ever made. I'll second this. If it wasn't for this album Lookout records/Green Day and that whole era of punk would have never existed (or become what it was).
themean
I saw Op Ivy about 10 times, and they were an amazing live band. I got to see their "last" show, which was easily a top 5 all time show for me. (I put "last" in quotations because they played a party the night after.) mclz
It was only re-released on CD, so either this is an upcoming repress and this dude from Europe somehow got the European pressing early (and it will have a US pressing too) or its just a bootleg. gabpower
The bar code and Hellcat logo makes it pretty legit I think. Still, it should be named "Energy" if it only has the Energy tracks and not the other tracks from other compilations.
mclz
^Yeah, if it was an official release I think that Tim would make sure it had the original Energy cover and not the s/t compilation cover.
karlsincharge
This is a bootleg. Op Ivy vinyl re-issues are in the works. Energy & Hectic getting a good, proper treatment.
Dillhole
A official reissue of these on vinyl is long overdue.
karlsincharge
A official reissue of these on vinyl is long overdue. I got hired here over a year ago, and I've been saying that for over a year.

burntwolf
about time it's being reissued on vinyl. i think those pic discs were way crappy. they just cut off the tracklisting when they ran out of room. didn't look like a lot of effort went in to those at all. so, will the epitaph release have all the tracks on the CD or just Energy? it would've been nice if they had done more for the CD reissue, like put the Gilman session on there. i assume they'll be some kind of limited color on the Epitaph/Hellcat reissue, so i'll be down to buy another copy of it. one of my favorite all time records.
