Guest scriptedrain
which record store ScriptedRain? i live in MinneapolisExtreme Noise is THE place I wish I knew. I went to it while I was in town to see a Saves the Day show in 2005. I think they were playing with Senses Fail and The Early November and someone else. I can't remember exactly. This was before I started collecting records, though I remember wanting to pick up Death Cab for Cutie's "Soul Meets Body" in the new 45 section even though I didn't even know how records played. Anyway, it was on the corner of a block (facing the front of the store, there was a street to the right) and it had an old beat up couch right up front inside. If I saw the name I might remember it. - Jeff
stefan
The dollar bins at Extreme Noise used to be my favorite stop when in the Twin Cities.

Guest scriptedrain
Until this July, that was my ONLY experience in a record store. I loved it, it a mystified sort of way. And, man, is that couch beautiful. - Jeff
ronniethebear
I only buy multiple colors/pressings if I REALLY like the colors, or if it's limited. Otherwise I'm buying to listen, but I still get the most limited pressing when possible.

riddle350
Saves The Day and Boys Night Out are the only two bands that I want every color/pressing. A lot of the other bands I love just have too many different things out.
faith
yeah Treehouse... I don't go there very often. The owner is a total douchebag

xunspokenliesx
I've always figured I'd rather have a larger number of different records than collecting every color pressing for one release...
ebru
I guess I have around 700, but it is a little bit hard for me to collect records because I live in Turkey. However I love collecting records, I will never give up to collect it

Over the two years I went from around 50 to what I'm at now.
