And the shipping is ludicrous, for these records, on P&P's site. 5.90 for a single disc? Lame. I want these variants, but I'm probably going to pass on these. Etched in small barely visable handwriting on one side is "Hay Hay". The other side has "Pie O Near s" written. Anyone else receive a copy like this? TFP Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 I love that the fans have waited 6 months(!!) for this release and all of a sudden Variants go up on P+P on the same time as Black Friday. So if I were to order the 3 variants (if I in fact am getting the black in the mail, like toadkat9 said) it's will be like $60+ bucks!! I think I REALLY HATE P+P. What is up with their shipping? I know that they could at least put 2 records in 1 box. Why couldn't anyone tell us that there would be variants and maybe we could have pre-ordered them too... It seems like this is the "F-You" version for Blue Collar because they did preorders when according the P+P they shouldn't have. well, now I may have to pick up one of the orange variants... Not on the black label itself, but on the inner of the record (where there is no music) the words "Hay Hay" is scrawled really small on one side and "Pie O Near s" on the other. Is your's also like that, Derby625? And Beardacus / thefavoriteplay, I'm assuming you guys did receive one of the swirl variants. My guess is there's no way to specifically order a black on black copy. As someone else said... the black on black version may be the rarest. And I'd guess that's because only a certain # of pre-orders received it and not ALL pre-orders. Plus, you can't specifically order the black on black version. I have the splatter coming soon In the mail and I am still waiting on it. When I get it I will take a picture. Also, I have been tweeting back and forth with P+P and I think that the BLACK is actually not a rare variant at all. It is like the standard press.
