tylerrr
At work today while listening to a local radio station. It was the first time I had ever called trying to win anything. I was fuckin' stoked!
turbobrando
That's awesome. Still love TBS. I stopped listening to Thursday after War All The Time. Last time I saw them in concert was probably about 3-4 years ago when they played with Murder By Death and Fear Before. Right up front and it was sick
Snaggle Von Swift
I think tickets for my local stop on this tour are like $50.. I would never pay that much, but I would definitely go to this tour if I won tickets.
gmoney
Really want to go see Colour Revolt and Thursday, but refuse to pay those prices for TBS. Last time I saw them was about a week before John left the band, and they were terrible.
tylerrr
I haven't heard the latest Thursday release but I heard it wasn't bad I'll have to DL it soon. It should be a good time. I can just see myself hanging in the back by the bar... If only I got free drinks too.
mcm1610
I always wanted to see Thursday live and just couldn't every time they were around. I don't like the newest album, and don't have much interest in seeing them live anymore.
brammyg
I went through a phase when I was about 14 where I would call my station after 11pm (usually) when they had contests and try and win...and I won tons. Lots of tickets to shows I didn't feel like paying for.
turbobrando
They actually just played in Cleveland earlier this year. They played Full Collapse in its entirety. Now THAT'S a show I shouldn't have missed
daniel
You guys are crazy, Thursday is like the BEST band. Every album is amazing.
mcm1610
I would've said that up until this one. I mean, the one before it was initially good, but not a keeper. I'm in the minority that loves ACBTLD a lot, though, and really wish it was on vinyl. I just can't get into this new one at all.. not my style. Too soft and airy and all that. mcm1610
The end of "Into the Blinding Light" is too badass. I like how with all the chaos you can barely hear him. Everyone seems to hate on the album because of it's production, but I think it adds a cool element to it, especially on some tracks like that where it works really well. Plus, that's what they were going for.

Cool story: the producer is the same guy since A City By The Light, who is also a professor at SUNY Fredonia (one of my friends took classes with him, jealoussssss), who also worked on MGMT, Flaming Lips, Weezer, etc.
travis
New Thursday is amazing, and I have high hopes for this new TBS album. Havent been into the last couple they put out. Will definitely be at this show when it comes around here tho.

Now THAT'S a show I shouldn't have missed I went to this show when it came through Vegas. It was pretty sweet to see them play the entire album but also kinda weird... Most of the band didn't really look into it... I on other hand had a great time it was so nostalgic. I definitely thought Animals as Leaders stole that show, I was blown away by the shredding. I've never seen them in concert... even in a Warped Tour-like setting or anything. I dunno how, but I was always doing something more important when they were in town, or I was out of town, or whatever. Sucked.
tylerrr
I haven't seen TBS in years... The last time I saw them I was a freshman and they had just lost their bass play and one of their guitarists. I had a blast though, they played with Saves the Day and Moneen. So much fun.
