One Hundred Fifty-Two
Like how people blow this so out of proportion. He did not say he is making a dubstep album. He said he was incorporating dubstep into his beats. Look at Britney/Rusko. Come on people.
BuzzersonKillwell
Pop music generally incorporates electronic trends from years past. Most major pop artists in this vein will be doing it. In this case one guy just happened to make it explicit.

kriss
I actually enjoyed the Britney/Rusko stuff a little bit (the dubstep break in the Till The World Ends remix was a bit weaker than some of the album tracks though) and while I'm skeptical to hear this, I'll give it a listen. I never liked Beiber though and it bums me out that Skrillex is seen as one of the main examples of dubstep on here when there's some legitimately good stuff out there - Soul Jazz put out a comp not that long ago called Future Bass that has some great stuff on it - http://www.souljazzrecords.co.uk/releases/?id=20428 - their Box of Dub comps are also really, really good.
