gravitylovesdrunks
so senseless. it's not that close to ending, so the price is just getting needlessly jacked up.
sgoodcore
the price on these and the Halloween 7" are so fucking out of whack.
eddieruckus
dude holy shit, I saw one of these sell for 32.50 not too long ago

mediocore
The high bidder has zero feedback. SKETCHYYYYY. I've noticed SOOOOO many like that lately, needlessly driving up prices. Of course, bgsdsh36237 could be a die-hard vinyl collector, but somehow I doubt it.
eddieruckus
could be the seller under a fake account, trying to drive up the price, if no one wins he can always relist it, just a thought

forgeagain
Too bad that 7" sucks really bad. Someone who went to the show lent my girlfriend a copy. Spun it once, it blew, returned it. Should have "lost" it and sold it.
sgoodcore
Its up past the price people are paying for Sundials, I Lied My Face Off, For Your Lungs, and Goddamnit!. It really makes my head hurt.

minty
could be the seller under a fake account, trying to drive up the price, if no one wins he can always relist it, just a thought Just what I was thinking. I saw a seller once, and all of his records had a bid from the same account for the same amount. Clearly just bumping the price up, the sneaky git. dante3000
This is the back swing of the vinyl pendulum. Records I pasted on two years ago because I was saving money are now eBaying for nearly $100. It's a bummer but the kids love Alkaline Trio and dump a shit ton on anything with their name on it. Bummer...except when I sell my VC #2 of 100 copy of Heavens.
mrc
do you think its because of XMAS? or is shit just getting out of hand nowadays?
Guest scriptedrain
do you think its because of XMAS? or is shit just getting out of hand nowadays? If I had to guess, I'd say 75% Christmas, 25% Shit Getting Out of Hand.
mediocore
do you think its because of XMAS? or is shit just getting out of hand nowadays? If I had to guess, I'd say 75% Christmas, 25% Shit Getting Out of Hand. I'd swing it closer to "Shit Getting Out of Hand." Even Lagwagon records are going for over $100 now. It's nuts. jhulud
I have noticed that it's hit or miss...some records that I would expect to sell for a lot are not...and some that wouldn't have sold for much a few months ago, are going for crazy amounts. Maybe it's this whole resurgence in vinyl interest... We can speculate 'til we're blue in the face but it will be like Tootsie Roll Pop...the world will never know... But I agree with Jeff...right now now, it's more of being the Holidays more than anything else. People are looking to have their Want Lists filled and maybe coming into some extra cash and buying shit up on eBay.
sgoodcore
I think the holidays have people pushing to get records and therefore they bid whatever they need to get the record, regardless of actual value.

sgoodcore
And in all that mess I got a MICF for $75 BIN. Its black but as we found out in the Vinyl File with Mark Park the black and orange are both equally as rare, both out of 1000.
bicyclepirate
If you check out all the other stuff that guy is selling, the same bidder with 0 feedback is the high bidder on at least 4 or 5 of his highest priced items. Totally looks like a scam to me.
frank
nah don´t think so, that bestam17 guy is jacking up every single Alkaline Trio auction at the moment, not just from that one seller. It totally annoys me
