DAVE HAUSE 7" series coming soon

Recommended Posts

I'm putting this out there right now...if any of you guys can pick up an extra, I'll shoot you some extra dough. I don't want to miss out on this release

If this going to be in-store only, my girlfriend has already agreed that we can go on a trip to any close city to hunt for this. If I find an extra, I'll be willing to get it for you. you'd want both black and white, right? but hopefully some of these will be up online.

Black and white would be ideal, but I'm cool with whichever. I'm not a variant collector

I swear he's played London Ontario 5 times in the past 2 years, and I'm not complaining at all! He played the Nite Owl, which is tiny, 2x for free, and had an impromptu jam session with Chuck Ragan there after last years Revival Tour

Yeah same with Toronto, he Chuck Ragan and Chris Cresswell from Flatliners did a secret show at the Bovine during NXNE. With all of them playing together on and off during Chuck's set, was a pretty awesome night.

Dave just announced a show at the Bovine with Joey Cape, John Snoodgrass and a "mystery" person. Probably Cresswell.

Next one is from Bridge Nine on June 19th!

"Dave Hause, frontman for the Philadelphia-based punk band The Loved Ones, is excited to team up with Bridge Nine Records for an installment in his ongoing 7inch series. Throughout 2012, Dave will be releasing 7inches on various independent labels including Side One Dummy, Jade Tree and Chunksaah amongst others. Hause commented, "Bridge Nine has consistently put out great hardcore records, I've been aware of them since the late 90's and they continue to do a great job. I remember wanting my old band The Curse to get a release out on B9, but we broke up (like most good hardcore bands do) before we could get much recorded. They've been great to work with on this 7inch series and I really enjoyed taking songs that have a much harder musical perspective and reworking them for a solo performance. Glad to be a part of their family after all these years."

Raised in a musical family, Philadelphia native Dave Hause has been involved with music as far back as he can remember. He began his musical career as a roadie, and later shared his own musical stylings in various punk bands. Eventually Dave formed The Loved Ones, who have released two full length records and several EP's. While The Loved Ones are still in existence, their touring schedule has waned and afforded Dave more time to work on solo material. Dave’s solo debut Resolutions was released in 2011 and showcases his wide range of influences, everyone from Patty Griffin to Paul Westerberg. With international touring that has taken him throughout North American, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and seen him share the stage with the likes of AFI, Bob Mould, The Bouncing Souls, Chuck Ragan, Tim Barry, Frank Turner, Lucero and Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem) amongst others, Dave is excited about where his current path is leading him.

The title, artwork, track list and pre-order information will be announced for Dave Hause's Bridge Nine 7inch soon, with track premieres and streams to follow. Be on the lookout for this 7inch to hit stores on June 19th from Bridge Nine Records."
