It's such a slow ramp-up but the book spins out of control so rapidly at the end, and I love how it was written as an oral history. rant is his only book i've read in it's entirety, and i really did enjoy it. a friend of mine let me borrow a collection of short stories of his, and i read a few, they were silly. intestines being pulled out of anuses via pool drains, etc. never read fight club, but studied the crap out of the movie like 10 years ago or so, for a video production class i took. No reason to spend money on them at this point. we get them as suveneers when we travel like people get shot glasses and what have you and from like you said, sporting events we go to, shows, and festivals. things like that.
