gabpower
The preorder is up pretty much everywhere from $17 on Hip O records but Trojan has a preorder for a special numbered /300 copy for 19.99£. For the Trojan fans. http://www.trojanrecords.com/news/2012/07/jimmy-cliff's-'rebirth'-out-now!

lexicondevil
I found this when I was up in Portland. Such a great record and kinda refreshing break from the other stuff I usually listen to. Produced by Tim Armstrong (Rancid). Great covers of "Ruby Soho" and "Guns of Brixton"( The Clash)
rudeboydh
I was really taken by suprise by it honestly. I didn't expect it to be this good!
hickey
This is easily one of the best albums so far this year. I grabbed a copy this weekend.
scottheisel
This record's amazing. Here's how it ranks on my Tim Armstrong Tolerability Scale (patent pending): Operation Ivy's recorded output This Jimmy Cliff record Transplants' first album Transplants' second album All Rancid albums rudeboydh
mclz
2nd Transplants record over Wolves and LWW?
rudeboydh
Is it just me or does Tim sound more...umm... "special" with each record?
gabpower
Anyone like me pre-ordered the limited numbered copy from Trojan and got a regular copy instead??? Or anyone got a limited copy at all?
scottheisel
Picked this up at my local store over the weekend. I think it cost me something like $18.75 for a single LP with a flimsy jacket and no download code. Still an incredible record, but man, Universal skimped something fierce on this. hickey
I think mine had a download code. I'll have to double check. Yes, it was overpriced, but worth every penny.
theshredhi
here the record is $19 or a "bundle" that comes with mp3's and a numbered out of 250 poster of the cover for $20. So only $1 to get the mp3's and poster. odd. http://www.universalmusicenterprises.com/rebirth/
gabpower
What was supposed to be a Trojan numbered copy actually came from Universal and was standard. I guess anyone who ordered the limited edition got fluked. Looking for a refund. I paid way more for that copy than what I would have paid on Amazon. lexicondevil
This album was worth the $18 I spent on it, but it is weak that there was no dl code. I guess I just need to do a little searching.
TPH976
I also preordered the ltd Ed and got a regular copy today. So, like 30 pounds with shipping for a regular copy I can get up the street.
gabpower
Ok so Universal finally sent a numbered copy but it's really just the same cover and everything except for this little cheap sticker wich we can see the original label through. Pretty amateur of them.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
at our wedding, natalie walked down "the isle" to jimmy cliff and our reception party afterwards was all Jimmy cliff and Toots. gotta get this record.
mclz
That Toots live album is probably the best sounding live album I've ever heard. And to think that record was pressed less than 24 hours after it was recorded at the show.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
were seeing Toots on Monday! our wedding anniversary is on Sunday, how crazy is that? rudeboydh
