RustyShackelford
it definitely looks like it could be. id have to see it held up to light or on top of the cover to be sure. but it definitely looks like a more pale yellow than mine is
mmhmm
Never knew there were two different yellow variants.

RustyShackelford
im pretty sure both of those are translucent. just the way the picture is taken makes them look opaque... i asked for better pictures though
RustyShackelford
also, the opaque is a DE pressing. not the regular US pressing. i need the 180g Black too!
hickey
How do you tell a first press of Searching For A Former Clarity?
adamlikesmusic
How do you tell a first press of Searching For A Former Clarity? First press is a/b white w/black labels, c/d black w/white labels Second press is a/b black w/black labels, c/d white w/white labels http://www.fatwreckwiki.com/w/AgainstMe:Discography/Searching_For_A_Former_Clarity

xen0m0rph
nope there are both. granted the translucent isnt very translucent, but its definitely not opaque. i assume you have an opaque? mind posting a picture? here is mine seems like USA pressing, according to notes backside
adamlikesmusic
The opaque was more of a marble, I think.
RustyShackelford
here is mine seems like USA pressing, according to notes backside that sticker on the top right is different than the one that came on mine, and that one definitely looks more like the opaque ones ive seen, can you take a picture of it on top of the outer sleeve or held up to a light source, please? ive never seen a marbled one

chiefwahoo
Against Me's website detailed out the differences at the time. The sticker was one of the main differences. Never saw a marbled one. And I'm not at home to check, but I do believe it's a US press, unless there's multiple.
RustyShackelford
so the sticker is an indicator that its opaque? that good to know if i ever see one in the wild again
chiefwahoo
Yes, there was definitely something specifically different about the sticker. If it wasn't the band's old discography that listed the differences, then maybe it was just the webstore at the time they were selling them. RustyShackelford
cool, well that sticker is definitely not the same one that came on mine, so at least i know what to look out for. thanks dude!

RustyShackelford
Agh yeah. That's definitely opaque! I'm jealous!
chiefwahoo
I looked at my copy and the opaque actually is marbled. Mostly noticeable when held to the light like the picture above. It's definitely a US press and has an inner sleeve instead of an insert, both of which are the same. The black stickers on the covers are actually the same except that the opaque version has rounded corners instead of being squared off. You obviously need to look closely to tell that. And the CD comes in a cardboard sleeve in the opaque version, as opposed to an envelope with a 'window'.
