+hecollec+or
Illinois sure hasn't. We seem to be the last state getting all the good stuff. I guarantee SC will be the last No, oklahoma will be the last!! I just think it's bullshit keeping it from people who it'll genuinely help with real illnesses but its totally ok pumping them full of pills. And the real hypocrisy is alcohol (which I have no problem with) is accepted while the infinitely less destructive ganja is a no-no. I hope one day this country wakes up, but I won't hold my breath. /rant

jhulud
So this may come as my moment in deeply treading unto old man "get off my lawn!" territory. I was Moe's earlier today for lunch when a father with his three male kids also came in for lunch. The oldest kid looking maybe 15 years old or so was wearing this shirt: Now. I'm all for punk rebellion and youth in revolt and all that good stuff. Especially when you're in your teens and living at home and supposedly having to hate your parents. BUT. Part of me was honestly bothered and somewhat perturbed that this kid was wearing that shirt out in public with his parents and siblings, who were considerably younger. Nevermind the fact that his taste in music may be questionable, but would his own parents allow him to be out in public in attired presenting "vulgar" behavior? In my younger days, my parents would have beaten my ass if I dared to leave the house wearing that even more so if I were to be out with them. I guess the level of propriety and humility and respect have sharply decreased nowadays to when I was a 16 year old punk trying to rebel. My band kiddos are in San Fran and just waking up now. I'm getting the "still sleepy" text messages at the moment. ALSO JUAN I SO AGREE WITH YOU. I saw so many kids at the beach in shirts like that and I realized that as a 21 year old adult...I still don't where my DEAD AS FUCK shirt in public. horrorbusiness138
jhulud, everything you just said makes perfect sense. I hated my parents when I was a teen and would wear anything I wanted to with no fucks given, but I would never be allowed to wear something like that when out with them in public nor would I try to either. Family Friendly Rap God
Haha, you sure seem positive about that. Our Governor is the worst. Although she has been been acting very differently lately. It's probably due to reelection coming up.

A buddy had a NIN eraser shirt that he had to put masking tape over "fuck you". Yet the school had no problem with Cannibal Corpse shirts. Who woulda thought you wore Misfits & I NIN in high school? Yea, our school only cared if it there were swear words or genitalia of any kind showing. Also YES! I still have/wear my Misfits shirts from HS. They've taken a beating over the last 15+ years, but they still hold up.
