i know you want to get your money back, but you aren't going to get any money back with that price. 9 out of 10 of these sell on ebay for half that price with shipping and stupid paypal AND stupid ebay fees.

i hope you aren't being sarcastic and you do consider mine and others input.  its really saying something if you can't take your price on here and throw it up on the bay for that same price.

You could probably get $60, but $80 might be a little bit of a stretch. I personally paid around $70 for mine, but this is one of my favorite albums and hold it on somewhat of a pedestal if you will. Not to mention I was trying to help someone out.

 

I definitely see a couple things I might be interested in, mostly the MLIW stuff and Mumford because I don't have that yet.

I bought my copy of Transatlanticism for $22 in 2005 or 2006, which at the time, I thought was outrageous for a new record. See, I started buying records in 1998 and didn't just jump on a bandwagon because it's what was cool at the moment. Back then, a 7" was $5 new. An LP was $10 or 12. I was 18 and way less money to spend. Also, I worked so I didn't need to sell things to pay bills. I was pretty responsible.

 

See I can be smug too.

 

You've got a few things I'm interested in. But someone who comes onto the boards to just sell there junk and then is kind of a jerk to people who seem to be offering realistic opinions is just a turnoff. I wouldn't even want to haggle with you.

Also, it helps if you're nice to people -- might go a long way to making a sale.

hard to back a user that has high prices on said item and won't listen to people giving him/her advice.  having said that, the biggest turn off is the multiple name changes.  did you not have a good rapport in previous transactions?

 

obviously thats an assumption, but i would say a good assumption and thats the nail in the coffin for me.
