I get the impression that P+P works with bands on individual releases and doesn't really sign bands to multi-album contracts. So LAHF released Hobo's Lament through them, but could be self-releasing or working with another label on this new album. I could be wrong. Debating doing this, but with the Lillingtons box comming out, need to save some for that. that's actually not their first album. they self released quite a few things prior to All That We Know, at least 4 full lenghts and 1 EP. 2 EPs if you to count the s/t 7" that silver sprocket eventually picked up. All That We Know is just their first full length to be released by a label and pressed on vinyl. most of the songs on that picture disc P+P released are re-recorded version of old songs, there is only 1 new song on that record. i think most of their earlier stuff is fairly easy to find using google. go to the band's website and look at the music section for all their releases. From what I've read, everything before the 7" that Silver Sprocket put out was just kind of straight-forward punk instead of the folky-bluegrassy stuff they're doing now. We'd need about an hour of your time to explain everything that has happened over the past weeks. We bit off a LOT more than we had ever imagined, but progress has been made, and we are finally able to share with everyone, all at once exactly what is going on, and we are so incredibly excited to be at this point. With your incredible generosity and help, the record is completely finished, and in the hands of the pressing plants! BY THE LAMPLIGHT is the name of the record, and it will be in stores on June 25th!! Your copies, along with all the "rewards" will be shipped in advance of that. CD's, Tshirts, Posters, Patches, you name it. All shipping mid June as promised. As always with vinyl, they never garauntee anything, but we are on schedule to deliver those with the rest, earlier than street date. With that said, be prepared for a lot more emails, we were able to turn off the auto-reply finally, and theres at least a dozen of you we need to re connect with directly for various reasons.
