UntitledRecords
Is this even possible? I get a record today that looked like the label was not fully pressed in the vinyl. I know it is caused from the labels not being fully dry before pressing and moisture that is caught between the vinyl and label. any comments on this? PostVillasBlues2K
lightly poke the bubbles with a sewing needle? I do that with stickers, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a record.
homework
lightly poke the bubbles with a sewing needle? I do that with stickers, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a record. I've tried this method and it worked like a charm. After the air is released, lightly press on the label.

Thrice55
Is this by any chance that Saosin S/T? The b side of mine its hugely bubbled. I shall try this method also
hipsterasfolk
Normally when it bubbles, there is another label underneath it. This happened to me a couple times (and there has always been a 2nd label)
zacaroo21
I've never had a bubble, but I've had a chunk missing from the middle of one of mine. It actually looks pretty sweet.

markok
My copy of Opeth - Heritage and Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare (lol, I know) have the same issue. Both are US pressings.

flood
everytime this has happened to me, it was always a second label .. since its not "mint" anymore anyways.. best bet to is to check to see if you can peel it off and get at the good one under neath it. tre
Normally when it bubbles, there is another label underneath it. This happened to me a couple times (and there has always been a 2nd label) Pressed a few hundred thousand records and more often than not, this is the case here. Any time I have bothered, the top label tears right off pretty clean and you'd almost never know...

Posted 02 August 2011 - 08:54 PM "When you see a label like that, more than likely there are actually 2 labels. You can tear the top one off, and probably won't be able to tell there was ever anything wrong with it. We get a couple of those with every record we press." Some things change while others stay the same.

UntitledRecords
I've never had a bubble, but I've had a chunk missing from the middle of one of mine. It actually looks pretty sweet. I have had the center label so off from the center that it was actually on top of the grooves of the rec.

I shall try this method also This was a copy of the first Ancestors 12" on Youth Attack. The label is almost ready to fall off. I am not really too worried about it at all, just thinking if there is a way to correct this.
UntitledRecords
Normally when it bubbles, there is another label underneath it. This happened to me a couple times (and there has always been a 2nd label) This is totally what happened! I was inspecting it closer and I got brave and started to peel away the top layer. I was happy to find there was a perfect label underneath!!!
