tvham
Just picked up tickets to see them live in SF on July 25...agreed that they are going to be huge soon and I'm stoked to see them in a small room.
nelso330
not sure how I feel about this band...I end up really liking a song or two... Then all their others fall flat....but then again it's been all random EP's and Singles...
cwhitmuzik
http://www.nme.com/news/the-1975/71021 Tracklist. 16 songs, omg. So fucking excited.Really want to know about the US release, tempted to drop the 40 bucks to get the colored UK one once I know what it is. steviex2shoes
I'll wait to see this pop up on Amazon for considerably less.
cwhitmuzik
I'll wait to see this pop up on Amazon for considerably less. Don't get your hopes up. They're on Vagrant in the US so it'll be an entirely different release here. Different date, could be a different track list, definitely not the same 2xLP colored. dmplly
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00CLOH240/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1372323513&sr=8-1π=SL75 Came to £17.80 shipped. Pretty happy about that. Also that track listing looks great.
cwhitmuzik
Wonder if that's the same 2xLP colored version.
dmplly
Wonder if that's the same 2xLP colored version. Hope so. It would surely have to be a black and white mix of some sort right? Probably just white.either way a black standard edition wouldnt bother me. This is going to be a long ass wait.
cwhitmuzik
http://the1975.com/store-us US preorder. 30 dollars, ugh. Almost as much as the UK one, hah. I guess I'll find out what the UK "color" is, or if it's the same as this.

cwhitmuzik
One of the top five songs I've heard this year. I can listen to it all day.
maintreqd
really wish we could find out from someone in the know about the colors of these variants, if they'll all be the same, etc... or at least if amazon UK is selling the same color UK variants that the band's label over there is?? I might just drop the $40 and PO from the UK label bc I am far too nuts about this band right now to risk saving $15 and getting black. haha. #vinylproblems
tvham
I saw The 1975 last night and they put on a great show, I was worried because I wasn't thrilled with their Conan appearance but I'm going to chalk that up to nerves. Still torn on whether to get the uk or us version.

cwhitmuzik
Just so you know, this is going to be far, far poppier than the EPs. The unreleased tracks are the poppiest ones to date. The Saint

They remind me of The Wombats meets Arctic Mokeys, so I don't think they can get popper than that.
