FlaStateGuy
I just wanted to say a quick thank you. I found this website a couple months ago and had no idea that it'd be a place that I feel at home. I can nerd out over my favorite records, talk about equipment, and just have an overall great time. Thanks to all the people that helped me. Yesterday I picked up a Pioneer PL-10 for $95. It came with a brand new belt, stylus, and cartridge. Although some people would say that I paid too much, it's in mint condition and I'm very happy about it. I can't wait to start exploring the world of high(er) end cartridges and styluses. Thanks again guys! Couldn't have done it without you. - Chris Man Suits and dreamwolf

FlaStateGuy
Thanks guys! I'm still riding the high. After collecting 52 records (30 I inherited from my parents collection), it was about time. Haha.
Guest
Thanks guys! I'm still riding the high. After collecting 52 records (30 I inherited from my parents collection), it was about time. Haha. that's how it happened for me. got a stack of my mom's old stuff, started collecting anything and everything brand new, and before i knew it, half of every paycheck was going to new tunes. hipsterasfolk
yea the first 300 albums I bought I was obsessed with collecting discogs of my favorite artist.....then the need/feeling to collect died down. Now I'm happy to say it's a hobby not an OCD plague on the wallet Satan
FlaStateGuy
It's an addiction. I've always been obsessed with music. I've got roughly 18k sounds on my iTunes (most of which I bought). But if you think about it, with one crash of the harddrive, all of that will be gone. Just thinking that if I take care of my records I'll be able to give them to my kids (like my parents did for me) makes me very happy. And very possessive. I've spent too much money on vinyl records already and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Haha. Still have a lot of my favorites to get. FlaStateGuy
Dude. Back that shit up. Lol. I've got it on 2 externals. I'm just saying, someone could delete all that if they wanted to. No one can delete these vinyl. They can try to break them, but that would be very painful...for them. Haha.
