anchorclose
Just looking for any input anybody has on these 3 cities. I'm leaving in 2 weeks and have yet to hammer down some solid places to check out beyond the normal touristy stuff. Anyone have any suggestions on things to do/places to see? Korgull Of Morgoth
Are you planning to do some record shopping while there? If so I could advise on some nice places in both Berlin and Amsterdam. No clue about Munich. BTW, the one stop shop for all your needs in Berlin: http://www.fkk-artemis.de/page/?langswitch_lang=en
chefchino
Watch a soccer game in Germany, either city. Smoke hash in Amsterdam and rent a bike .
fEARoFaRTrECORD
Go to BIS AUFS MESSER RECORDS when you're in Berlin. (Marchlewskistraße 107, 10243 Berlin) Make sure to visit Potsdam, next to Berlin, for some nice castles and parks. It's the normal touristy stuff, but really worth it imo. Team Avatar
I LOVED Berlin. One of the coolest cities I've ever been to. There was like an outdoor fest thing when we went with a sweet snow slide and food and stuff, so we stayed occupied with that and went to a casino and stuff. I can't recommend individual places, but you'll have a kick ass time, that's for sure.
billya
Amsterdam and Berlin are both fun. There are free walking tours of Berlin which show you all of the big historic sites, all of which are pretty much a must-see if you're a history fan. Amsterdam is absolutely beautiful, the city itself will blow your mind. The Van Gough museum is really nice. Just be careful of spending too much at Turkish Kebab places in Amsterdam. Twistedshabazz
Forget where in berlin it was but there had to be like 15 record stores in a really small area. Ran into a lot of places that were specifically house or techno music but tons that had a huge selection. I know thats really unhelpful but rest easy knowing record shopping wont be a problem. I remember Berlin as being very "hip" as well.

That has to be Friedrichschain, WarschauerStrasse S-bahn stop. Within a few minutes walking distance you can find Bis Auf Messer, HHV.de, Audio In, Power Park and a few more stores. Then walking down to Kreuzberg you can shop at CoreTex, Vopo, Space hall and some more random shops.
