Ah yes, all that placement space that major retail chains have for 11" records. What up MiniDisc part 2?

Emo Revival
One of the guys I work with put out all the GG stuff back in the day and still owns all the rights. He got promos of this the other day, and it's a pretty nice package. Can't speak to the sound quality though.
jhook
BKR, has he ever had a run in with Merle? I know he sells a lot of his brothers stuff.
Emo Revival
BKR, has he ever had a run in with Merle? I know he sells a lot of his brothers stuff. Not as far as I know. He's not very close with the family anymore but he does help them out financially from time to time. On a side note I've heard some of the craziest stories about GG. smailtronic
I would love to hear some GG stories. One of the record stores in town has a bunch of GG 7"s. But they want $35 a pop for them, and that seems silly.
jhook
Some of his stuff fetches a decent amount.
paranoidantroyd
GG's funeral is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen.
jhook
You should find the video of him swimming at a relatives pool. It's on YouTube. The bizarre thing about it is that nothing happens, he is just hanging out and swimming. I think at one point he is cleaning it too. It's just odd because he is all bruised and cut up with his crappy tattoos and fu manchu moustache.
lexicondevil
As much as I hate picture discs, I am going to probably have to get that Ike and Tina one. If the dvd is actually never before released footage it should be pretty damn cool. I found a live performance of them in Europe on Netlfix and they completely killed it. I've seen Hated and other GG stuff. Interesting like watching a terrible car accident, but not something most people need to own.
timbrh2001
Pretty neat GG package, only thing holding me back from buying is that it's a picture disc. Great documentary and a nice selection of songs...
