This is also part of the reason that all of these are strictly available through Brett himself and not the MOMR webstore. With only making 100 of these as a double LP, the price on these is a little nuts. In all honesty, just a "vinyl-only" option wouldn't make you that much happier because these fuckers are PRICEY. But, with that being said, these are already almost sold out and I'm going to push for a repress so that we can maybe do the second round outside of bundles. Thanks for the support! I just wanted to write to you all to give you an update on the status of the vinyl LP’s you ordered from my online store. First off, thank you so much for your order. You guys and gals are my biggest supporters and I cannot thank you enough for ordering the deluxe merch packages. You’re the best. As you knew when you ordered – any order including the double vinyl is a pre-order that you’d be waiting a little while to get. Again I thank you for your patience – seriously. I believe wholeheartedly that the wait will be worth it. If you saw or own the Bird In The Tangle LP then you know how meticulous Austin at Mind Over Matter Records and I are about making our vinyl collaborations super special and high quality. As with any super small-run product like this, the wait can be longer than we are all accustomed to now in this instant gratification world we live in BUT please know that progress is indeed being made on your records. The test-pressings have been approved and the record sounds awesome!! United Record Pressing in Nashville is handling the white records and Austin himself is hand-making the sleeves etc. I can’t give you a date yet and I’m sure it will still be a little while but I just wanted to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for your patience. Oh and just so you know, no money from your orders gets transferred to me until your orders ship – so don’t think I’m out running around buying new guitars or hockey tickets instead of making your records. Brett really wanted to put the preorder up before he hit the road so that he could release the digital version for tour. At that point, the tests hadn't even been approved yet. The tests have since been approved and the records should be here within a couple of weeks. I have a TON of labor to put into this artwork, but I'm hustling. They're gonna be great! Bummer It did pretty well despite the bundles, as there are literally like 2-3 left. I am pushing pretty hard for a 2nd press available through MOMR that won't have a bundle. I havent had a chance to listen to the records, but everything looks beautiful, and Brett took the time to write a note the delays. Considering most POs never do that, it was great to see someone take the time to do it. So glad I got this even if the price was a little high, Brett totally deserves it. I made each one by hand and they took me about an hour and a half EACH to create. I almost cried when he was sending me pics. So we had to make even MORE.
