letskissthesky
yeah, i'm a pistons fan. obviously. but i love both teams, i just think it's gonna be a great series. i really hope houston pulls thorugh. i doubt they will. but i think the lakers and the rockets would be great also. this years playoffs are defintiely one of the best in a while. jhamm212
Damn son. Hornets handed to it the Spurs tonight. But I think Spurs can still win the series. They need to get a win off by AT LEAST game 3 but game 2 would be great.
sgoodcore
I guess we'll start to see tomorrow how well the Jazz match-up with the Lake show. Should be interesting.
letskissthesky
:'(Dwight's hand :'( yeah, that made me sad. but if he's out i guess it's a rap for the pistons.
letskissthesky
the celtics / hawks game was absolutely ridiculous. i've never seen a team killed so badly. near the end of the third when perkins passed to pierce and he passed behind the back to garnett for the almost dunk. that was insane. They need to get a win off by AT LEAST game 3 but game 2 would be great. Nah, it was Hugo the mascot's fault and his lame ring of fire stunt. Ok ok, the Spurs played like shit in the second half and the Hornets dominated them.

shanehennessey
It would have been nice if they did the fire shit during half time rather than the end of the 1st. It would have made the game go on time, not to mention there wasn't even a half time show lol.
kurtz
That celtics/cavs game was ugly. Glad the celtics won though.

jhamm212
the nba...where home court advantage means the refs call whatever you need happens Did you watch any of the Spurs' home games against the Suns in round 1? Those are proof that this isn't always true.
slymer
Anyone know the status on Kobe's back? Utah might be able to steal one in LA. The difference in this series is Utah's bench. Korver, Millsap, and Harpring could start for a lot of teams in the NBA, not to mention Price is proving to be a pretty good backup PG. sgoodcore
Okay, so I was wrong. Utah won 2 games, not just one.
magalvsr13
fuck - that laker game got too close for comfort tonight, but ah well - bring on the spurs or hornets!
sgoodcore
totally, I was at the Angels Dodgers game and thought I'd come out to hear the Lakers were cruising, oh not so much unfortunately.
magalvsr13
they were cruising the vast majority of the game but let them slip right back in the 4th quarter....closed it out though, and thats all that matters
jhamm212
I thought Utah could maybe pull through. I think it all goes back to that terrible officiating . HOPEFULLY the Spurs will win game 7. Doubt it. But hopefully.
kurtz
I am so happy Lebron is out of the playoffs. but now I don't have anybody to root for or against anymore.
magalvsr13
if its lakers/celtics - the NBA and the media will go apeshit
martyk36
Yeah, that's why I'm hoping haha... plus my dad used to show me all of these 80s Lakers/Celtics tapes, their rivalry is what got me into basketball at a very early age. Magic Vs. Bird.
