  1. It's all garbage... just send it to me without bothering to open it. Seriously, though, if Lemonade and Brownies was available on vinyl I would have hunted that shit down long ago... only Sugar Ray album I could give a fuck about.
  2. Do you not want it? If not, I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to sell it... your loss. It's not like you're flipping it if you sell it over a year after you get it... there's got to be a line where flipping is concrete, but I don't know when that is. If you put something on eBay before some people even get their pre-orders, that's a different story. You could offer to trade or sell it here... if you're anything like most of us, you'll just use the cash to buy more records... or drugs... but even then you could just trade it for drugs.
  3. Ditto on those three releases of Comfort... I had Greg sign my promo at a show... which may affect the value of it negatively, but I didn't plan to sell it anyways. Magnified is the only one I have on cassette. Macaque is awesome and super easy to play on guitar (the main riffs anyways... not claiming to have captured Ken's use of feedback, timbre, etc.)
  4. Uhhhhh..... Screen Man?!?! Hello?! One of Failure's best songs, right there! I'd also like to see a Failure B-Sides comp (ala the Golden cd, but a little longer) and let's get The Replicants pressed already!! ...I mean, as long as we're making demands, here.

  6. I know it was posted in the Graveface thread, but figured I'd duplicate it here: From graveface's FB page: ATTENTION ::: I don't know if I'm hopped up on goofballs, in the holiday spirit or just an idiot, BUT, regardless of that, for the next 24 hours I'm allowing new members to join the Graveface Record Club at only $100. If you're unfamiliar with the Record Club, members receive the next 10 releases in all formats, plus a shirt and some other shit. All Record Club LPs are hand-numbered and come on an exclusive color vinyl. If you want to pull the trigger for 100 bones, hit me up via email and we'll make it so (mailatgravefacedotcom). For more info on the Record Club, click the link below. Peace and Love, RG http://www.graveface.com/graveface-specials.html
  7. Is the black Harvard LP mean its the tour variant? I picked up a black copy of it used recently for 15 bucks (2LP & DVD) at a used book store after a coworker introduced me to their music... But I'm not super familiar... I do like the album a lot, though. I've been working on a trade list lately... hopefully soon I can swap some stuff with y'all.
  8. http://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/2013-flexi-series-deluxe.html There's a button to toggle to standard subscription on the page. Mackie Osbourne is doing the art for the box this year (which is an extra 30 bucks up front and is limited to 250) and looks like this: They charge you 5 bucks a month (plus 1.25 shipping US) and then ship you a flexi and send an email once a month to tell you who the artist is that month with a link to buy the test pressing (they sell five at that time and I guess the others at the end of the year(?)) I believe that the subscribers from 2012 get the old price of 4 bucks grandfathered in... not sure, though. I think the Melvins participation will push this to sell out pretty quick.
  9. Just got the email. Birthmark Built To Spill & Helvetia Here We Go Magic Hella Melvins Mike Adams At His Honest Weight Monotonix Rob Crow Son Lux The Sea And Cake Sufjan Stevens & Cat Martino Why?
  10. I signed up for the gold variant and almost ordered it, but someone on the Graveface forums scored me a copy of the first pressing of Mare Vitalis for 32 bucks and I already have the Graveface silver copy of this so I think I'm gonna pass on the gold LLO1&2. I have til 430 tomorrow to change my mind on passing though... Decisions!!!!!
  11. I'm not sure if this is a falied trolling attempt or a typo... Thanks for the tips. The first two look promising...
  12. Goddamn!!! It's worth it, though! One of my favorites of all time.
  13. My friend just sent me a text asking where he could buy cool band posters. I told him to try gigposters.com and exspressobeans.com, but they're both peer to peer sales and forum based sites, so he may not be down for that. Any ideal where else online I could point him? Bonus points if you can name a physical store in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill triangle... that would be cooler. I've heard of a place called Amplified Art a while ago, but their website doesn't work which probably means they closed.
  14. Here's the info I have on file for the master source... no idea if it was transcoded to lossy for the LP, though. The second Tool show I ever went to is the Kalamazoo, MI 98 bootleg which is hands down the best sounding live Tool material available. PM me if you haven't heard this so I can get it into your hands! 15. I got an email from Joyful Noise saying that they had a couple of extras of some titles due to subscription cancellations. Akron/Family: https://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/by-my-side-overrun.html Racebannon: http://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/i-wanna-trade-my-crack-for-coke-white-wedding-overrun.html They had some others but those all sold out already. 4 bucks each. BTW, I have a Tortoise - Hot Coffee Flexi test pressing that I would like to trade for the Lou Barlow or Deerhoof test if anyone is interested.
  16. I'm subscribed to Graveface and Joyful Noise. Graveface is such a good value it's ridiculous, plus you get the releases in every format. It's usually just cd and LP, but BMSR's Dandelion Gum was on cassette as well.
  17. Nice presentation of an all time classic. I may have to check out the big bundle.
  18. I've tried so many times to get into this band... it shouldn't be so hard.
  19. DECGJ25 gets you 25% off at Glassjaw's Merchdirect store from 12/7-12/9.
  20. I snagged a Tortoise test pressing. I will trade for Deerhoof or Lou Barlow flexi test pressing if anyone is interested.
