  1. With the number of Bowie albums still out of print, I'm not sure why they decided to reissue this collection. I would assume Nothing Has Changed already filled the space for a Best Of Bowie in vinyl.
  2. Really curious about the Dirty Three release on the UK list. An expanded version of their first album maybe? Though last years Dirty Three RSD reissue had an MSRP of £40 and I'll be damned if Bella Union is going to squeeze me for $60 for a record. I'll likely just try to order the Violent Femmes 7" and the reissue of Bowie's I Dig Everything when Bullmoose posts their leftover stock the following Monday.
  3. I'm excited for this one. I've been waiting for Bullmoose to put up a pre-order. It somehow managed to escape my attention until now that Alela Diane appears on the album. I'm curious how prominent her contribution will be.
  4. Thanks for posting. I was wondering when and how that would be released. Preordered.
  5. bullmoose sent me a shipping notification yesterday, status currently shows "Item Packaged"
  6. I got a bonus 7" with Wonder Show Of The World, a simple 1 sheet calendar with What The Brothers Sang and a do-rag with Wolfroy Goes To Town direct from Drag City. I was also able to get the bonus CD with The Letting Go but only by email request. The recent bonus 12" with Singers Grave I had to hunt down a copy of from a record shop even after preordering early and emailing DC.
  7. Only ordered the Velvet Underground set and the Kanye/Jay-Z record. I received a shipping notifications and tracking numbers for both and UPS has already picked up VU set.
  8. My wife is stoked to see this get reissued since we passed on it when we saw her play a couple years ago and it disappeared from all retail stores soon afterward. My wife and I will be making a trip from the North Bay to the LA show. I've never cared much for her music but Jenny is my wife's favorite singer and puts on a good live show.
  9. Were they marked in any way? Or did you just happen to find a blue record when you opened it?
  10. I had a feeling this was coming. Good to finally see it. How was the Lets Go remaster?
  11. I can't believe I just spent $30 on a 4 track EP Thank you for posting, OP! Would've been bummed if I missed out.
  12. I love the Dirty Three and this price is actually better than what it was going for on RSD but $53 shipped is still to rich for my blood. I don't think their self titled is their strongest record either.
  13. Called Luna as well and had one shipped, though I was told it was their last copy. Thanks for the heads up!
  14. I walked into my local shop around 5pm after work yesterday. They didn't have much left, but I decided against picking up the little they did have when I saw a copy of that Brand New record still on the shelf... marked at $70.
  15. Use the code EARLYBIRD for free shipping on GoHastings preorders. GoHastings sucks for preorders (most of mine are never fulfilled), but it may be worth trying if you want this record.
  16. I've made a couple dozen orders containing vinyl from GoHastings and have only had one item arrive damaged. It was a copy of Gallon Drunk's Fire Music that was obviously shop worn. Packaging has never created a problem for me and most of my orders have arrived in proper record mailers. I'm never hesitant to order from them, though I no longer count on them for preorders. I jumped in and ordered 14 records in 3 separate orders during this sale totalling about $190. They'll all be arriving Monday through Wednesday in six shipments. A couple records I was actually surprised to see ship (Jonsi & Alex's Riceboy Sleeps and Devendra Banharts' Cripple Crow). I feared they were listed by mistake and not actually in stock. I hope they arrive in vinyl format and not CD format, as I have heard of that happening and experienced it once myself with a copy of Grinderman 2.
  17. The releases I'm most interested in seem to be UK exclusive, and I'm in the US. Slowdive, Dirty Three, Siouxsie. I hope that there are some leftovers available online... I'll have to see if I'm working that Saturday, but I'll be out the lookout for the Social Distortion, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Violent Femmes and White Stripes for myself. Decemberists for my fiancee. The Bonnie 7" is the only one that has me concerned and will be the reason I head down to 1-2-3-4 Go! in Oakland if I've got the day off (if they expect to have it).
  18. Their first two were fantastic and I have no doubt this album will be good. This preorder has been up for a good while. $18 seems to be the going price for this record and I'm too cheap to spend an extra 40% in shipping for the colored vinyl.
  19. Temporary Residence is usually so reasonably priced with their LPs that I'm surprised a 12" single is so pricey. The track is decent. Not fantastic.
  20. I was hoping that when and if the Femmes finally recorded new material that they would do so with the original lineup. The band really started losing their appeal to me when DeLorenzo left and Guy Hoffman took over. This EP was recorded with their new drummer Brian Viglione of Dresden Dolls. It may be interesting to hear what he has to offer the band and I will be picking this one up, but my expectations are not high. The new track certainly doesn't compare to their first few albums.
