davereds
Hi guys! Im new here, and new in the world of vinyl collection. I just recently got two vinyl and both present a fuzz / distortion sound in silence and in parts of songs (most in the first tracks), and also skips parts of the tracks. There is always that fuzzy sound and I dont know if are scratches inside the grooves or a lot of dust in them, I have tried everything on the internet, also chang the needle. - Here is a video of one of the records... Thanks guys.
THE_James_Champ
Welcome. Maybe the needle/table/record is defective? I know you said you tried everything, but what did you actually do? It honestly sounds like you need to clean the records thoroughly, maybe? I don't know, I just buy them to hang on my wall.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Try playing a different record to see if the problem is just that record.

Shitty Rambo
The problem is only with that record! If it's only with that record then that's your answer. You got a crappily pressed record. If this is something you can contact the label about for an exchange then do that, otherwise there's nothing you can really do with your equipment to make a bo-bo quality record sound better. That's like trying to make rotten chicken taste good.
+hecollec+or
That's like trying to make rotten chicken taste good. Just add some salt. Works every time.
