  1. Got this from my insider source... http://tinyurl.com/jtvinyl
  2. Does anyone know anything about "Frank Turner Recovery b/w We Shall Not Overcome 7" (500 copies)"?? I'm hoping it's not UK only, but 500 seems awfully small for a international release given his increased popularity. Haven't seen it listed anywhere else, nevermind any details.
  3. I feel like the second half of this album is better than the first, which is rare (especially with pop albums)... but Tunnel Vision and That Girl are probably my favorites.
  4. Jimmy Fallon shows it off at the beginning of JT's performance lastnight: http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/justin-timberlake-pusher-love-girl/n33687/
  5. Same here. I would've ended up getting it anyway, but after seeing the cover I went right to his website and ordered.
  6. On the topic of transitions/reprises... I think I'd rather have them as part of each track, the way he does it here and on FS/LS then separate tracks. I don't mind the 7-8min track lengths, and its way better for when they come up on shuffle on my phone. Sometimes bridges/transitions aren't so perfectly matched to the preceding song, and in that case I can see making it a new track. But here, like swemoll said, it's like a reprise at the end of each, which makes me feel like it belongs as one continuous track.
  7. It's most definitely intentionally vague... "double entendre" Album is streaming on iTunes by the way. Just finishing my first listen through now, and I'm very happy with it so far.
  8. It's up on his site, but OUCH... $200. 6xLP, signed and hand numbered out of 500. http://shop.theweeknd.com/
  9. (Realizing the lack of credibility,) Wikipedia has this listed as a '12" Vinyl available in green or black' Edit: Looks like it was copy/pasted from the England Keep My Bones page and just not changed. Oh well.
  10. I just hate not knowing all of the details about some of these releases. I'd rather them just not be announced until we can know everything. Really curious about everything to do with the Frank Turner 7" and the Trapped In The Closet LP.
  11. If what Strictly Discs and Vintage Vinyl have posted are legit... I really hate the Ready To Die cover art. I was hoping for it to be the same as the original. Upsetting.
  12. I wonder if the "Ready to Die" release is through GetOnDown, too. Really need that one. Hopefully there will be more than a few of them.
  13. Yeah, I'd imagine it'll be almost exactly the same as the CD version, just larger.
  14. This just got added to the RSD 2013 list: *NEW* Genius/GZA Liquid Swords—the Chess Vinyl Edition (Contains the entire Liquid Swords album and complete instrumentals as well as a in-depth, full color linear notes with contributions from GZA himself and a full-sized chess set) I'd assume it must be through Get On Down but haven't tried looking into it yet... Now I regret buying the CD version, haha
  15. Nice... I've been a member on there for like 6 years. It's a little over-saturated these days, but still a good source of info. On topic, I'm really curious to see what this release will look like, if it does exist. (Though I'd much prefer a Channel Orange release if I had to pick one)
  16. The deluxe CD with the puzzle is pretty cool, but I honestly never got into Ironman as much as other albums (OB4CL, Liquid Swords, Tical) so I'm gonna pass. If the puzzle came with the vinyl then i might get it just for fun. I grabbed the Liquid Swords chess box set and have it set up in my cube at work. It's pretty sweet.
  17. Probably no limited/colored pressings, then...? Oh well, it's still my most anticipated release this year.
  18. Exactly how I feel. I feel a little bad having to compare this to Radiohead stuff because in theory it should be "different" but it's hard to separate the two.
  19. Looks like they've sold 850 since the second listing went up. More than I would've expected. I got my 2 in the mail the other day. I tried googling around and it doesn't look like either of them are actually sampled in any of his stuff, which is a bit of a bummer but I figured it'd be a long shot anyway. I got King Tee ‎– Bass / Ko Rock Stuff (http://www.discogs.com/King-Tee-Bass-Ko-Rock-Stuff/release/268398) and Buddy Emmons With Lenny Breau ‎– Minors Aloud (http://www.discogs.com/Buddy-Emmons-With-Lenny-Breau-Minors-Aloud/release/3849940)
  20. Agreed on the Baddest Man Alive 7"... it might be my favorite track on the album but I already sprung for the deluxe MWTIF soundtrack, so I don't think it's worth grabbing this.
  21. I think there's a good 50% chance it'll be a sticker and not actually a part of the cover. It wouldn't make sense to have the cover layout be so similar to the first 2 albums but all of a sudden throw the title on there, especially that pronounced. We'll see.
  22. Vinyl pre-order is live on his website... http://www.myplaydirect.com/justin-timberlake/features/28035868
  23. Missed out last time... bought 2 this time. thanks for posting. hopefully i get something good!
