  1. Sadly, this. I adore In Remission, The Talk (hello, the Offspring), and I don't wanna be an asshole anymore, but everything else just feels flat. I was hoping for more songs that stick out more like Mexican Guitars and Casey (or most of OTIP.) I dig this album a lot but I'm not sure how much it'll hold up over time. But then again, I'm pretty drunk so who knows.
  2. I can't believe I missed this. Fuck me sideways with a lunchbox.
  3. Ordered that aqua variant. I'm always down for new Banquets.
  4. So it looks like the flipping has already started. Gross. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rented-World-by-The-Menzingers-Cream-Black-Colored-Vinyl-OOP-/261402824522?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3cdcd28f4a
  5. I looks like the splatter is now out of stock http://kingsroadmerch.com/the-menzingers/view/?id=5405&cid=920
  6. Snagged a splatter. So glad I jumped on this early. I didn't pull the trigger on the blue OTIP when that PO went up and I had a time trying to track it down later for cheap. I'm glad I didn't make the same mistake with this one. Also, the new song is gnarly.
  7. That Doc Dailey & Magnolia Devil album is solid. Picture Frames has been my go-to song since you posted this. I'm definitely grabbing this record on my next payday.
  8. Well that went fast. I would have loved to grab this as it's my second favorite Hold Steady album.
  9. Got the deluxe bundle. Smooth as silk and only $5.00 to ship everything.
  10. I'm not. TGA has been one of my favorite bands but I really do not want to throw more money down this subscription rabbit hole for: another questionable shirt, the opportunity to buy expensive El Jefe posters, and a 7" that may or may not arrive.
  11. Limit One Per Person. Well that sucks. I was going to buy 3 "for the board"
  12. If I didn't have half of that already I would be all over this. Everyone should buy this package. So much good music for a good price.
  13. I got Make Yourself off of Amazon as a gift from someone. Turns out it was a RSD with the sticker on front and number 2575. Day = Made.
  14. I pledged to The Forecast's most recent and that went pretty fantastic. The record was awesome, it arrived at my door about when they said it would, and it was a limited variant of only 130 for those that pledged to the kickstarter. I've pledged a couple of non-record things too that went pretty well. I might be in the minority, but I've not had a bad experience with KS. To answer your questions in regard to The Forecast: Did you get more than you bargained for? No Was there a personal touch that you really liked? No Did you actually care, or not? Not really. I just wanted my record. The kickstarter variant was cool, though Was it a band/project that you were already a fan of, or did you just stumble across it. And if you weren't already a fan, are you now? I was already a fan.
  15. I got this beer flavored record yesterday and I'm slightly disappointed. I was hoping it would taste a bit like Guinness, but instead it's a little too Milwaukee's Best for me. I mean, it sounds great and all and it's a fantastic record but beeeeeer.
  16. I've been meaning to pick this up for a while so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. It's a great album and I can't wait for the record to show up at my door.
  17. These are back up http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music//Fall+Out+Boy+-+Take+This+To+Your+Grave+Clear+Vinyl+LP+Pre-Order-390149.jsp
  18. There's a couple of those releases I'd be okay with having, just nowhere close to the price that they're asking. Exclusive variant or not....just no.
  19. I pulled the trigger on that too expecting a CD but still hoping for the best. And yeah, the CD came in the mail yesterday. That's going back for a refund ASAP.
  20. Bought. I already have 59 and AS but both are on black. So much for me trying to not buy any more vinyl till the end of the year...
  21. So the order that was supposedly cancelled was somehow laying at my door today. Packed perfectly and in great shape. What this is...I don't even but I'm good with it.
  22. Misery is one of my favorite things TGA has done since the 59 Sound album.
